Inquisition by Tairin-Rur

Well done! This piece is so simple and straightforward and yet it raises so many questions. You have created a very unique atmosphere here and your execution is great. The title itself is a wonderful addition. The word "inquisition" calls into question the viewer's role in this moment. Am I witnessing something as an observer? Am I actively involved in this inquisition? The model here does a wonderful job (and you obviously directed her well) of making the viewer not only unsure of personal involvement, but her own guilt or innocence. She looks vulnerable and dejected, but somehow seems to warrant caution upon approach. It may be that she is a witch, after all. The uncertainty you create here is what makes me remember this piece long after I have moved on in my day.
